A clear understanding of the condition is needed, is the conditions a illness or injury, acute or chronic.
Most conditions have multiple phases of treatment: for example a acute back strain from lifting and this happened in the last day or two and you are in good general health it may take only one or two treatments with stretching and exercises afterwards, but if you are out of shape and have a chronic history of back pain it could take 6-10 treatments with stretching and exercises done along with the treatment, and then a few follow up treatments a week or two afterwards.
The links to the right help explain each of the modalities I use in treatment.
How I treat the condition depends on the diagnosis in Chinese medical terms, below are examples.
Lets say you came in with a acute cold or flu:
Herbs are usually the main treatment and they are fast acting at first, they help speed up the healing process, then they are changed to treat the underlining condition that allowed it to happen if in the first place if applicable. Also cupping, microcurrent with or without needles can be used to speed up the initial acute condition.
Chronic digestive problems such as bloating, gas, abdominal pain, cramping and cravings for carbohydrates and or sugars:
Dietary changes are always need in chronic conditions along with herbs, acupuncture with or without needles, TDP lamp therapy and some dietary supplements.
Chronic headaches:
