FORMAL EDUCATION

1985: Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health at California State University of Northridge.

1987: Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at

S.A.M.R.A.  School of Oriental Medicine

1987: Passed the California State Examination for Licensed Acupuncturist, and has practiced Oriental Medicine professionally in Thousand Oaks since then.

1988: Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.) degree from

South Baylo University of Oriental Medicine.

1994: Doctor of Homeopathy (D.H.M.) degree from The Hahnemann College of Homeopathy.

During succeeding years, Dr. Pendleberry has continued to attend seminars in advanced Acupuncture techniques, Herbal medicine, Homeopathy, Biokinesiology, Oriental Diet and Nutrition, Essential Oils, Hand Magnet therapy, etc, to expand his knowledge and practice of Energetic Medicine.

Dr. Pendleberry's methods of diagnosis are based on the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, American, and German principals of "Energetic Medicine" which include: Asking questions; Looking at the face, skin, hair, eyes, color, body types and movement, etc; Listening to the voice, cough, breathing, etc; Palpation of the Pulses, Abdomen, and specific Body Points, and a bioenergetic evaluation through Biokinesiology.

His method of treatment is to establish a balance of Qi (Chi) or energy in the body to correct the imbalance’s that are causing the "disease" through the stimulation of Acupuncture points by needles, massage therapy, electricity, heat, magnets, and light therapy; along with the use of Herbs, (eastern and western); Essential Oils, Diet Therapy, Lifestyle Changes, Food and Nutritional supplements.

Dr. Pendleberry is a General Practitioner, and has practiced in the Thousand Oaks area since 1987.

He treats many different diseases and disorders from the newborn to the elderly.
